This Saturday, October 24th from 2-3PM: Do you like horsing around? Our therapy horse Cinnamon and our mule Todd love too. They enjoy a good brushing, time outside the pasture, and good treats. Come meet our equines here at The Homeplace and learn how they help out on the farm.

This Sunday, October 25th from 11AM to 12PM: Meet our Border Leicester sheep and learn what role they played on an 1850’s farm. Offer them a treat and get up close with these fuzzy farm friends.

This Sunday, October 25th from 2-3PM: In 1776, the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence with a quill feather pen. By the 1850s we had more options, like steel pens, but today let’s grab a feather and get writing. Don’t worry, the ink will come off of your fingers… Eventually!
