This 2,500-acre paradise, located between Kentucky Lake, Woodlands Trace Highway, and US 68/KY 80, boasts an impressive 100 miles of trails catering to all skill levels. Whether you ride an ATV, OHV, Jeep, or dirt bike, you’ll find challenging and fun terrain to explore for a day or a weekend.
Beginners & Experts
The OHV Trails
Navigate the well-maintained Primary Trails, marked with Yellow Blazes, perfect for beginners looking to get familiar with the trail system. Step it up on the Secondary Trails, indicated by Orange Blazes, offering a narrower and more challenging experience for those with some riding under their belt. For the experienced off-roader, the Tertiary Trails, marked with Blue Blazes, provide the most challenging and often narrow routes. Remember to always stay on the designated trails!

You Can Even Camp!
Permits are required to ride the trails, with options for 1-3 days or an annual passes. Primitive camping is available within Turkey Bay for a small fee, offering amenities like 24-hour generator areas, chemical toilets, and drinking water. Turkey Bay’s trails are open from sunrise to sunset for anyone legally permitted to operate an OHV. Don’t forget your protective gear, including helmets!
