Discover the beautiful folk art of Pysanky/Batiks Eggs, the traditional wax-resist method of decorating eggs. Designed for beginners, this hands-on workshop introduces students to the fundamental techniques for creating intricate patterns and vibrant designs with wax and dyes.
Participants will learn how to apply wax to create layered designs and build color through multiple dye baths. By the end of the class, each student will have completed their own pysanky/batik egg and gained the skills and confidence to continue this centuries-old art form at home.
