Cadiz to Barkley Trail
This new paved trail begins just west of Cadiz on Braboy Handley Lane and travels along US 68/KY 80 all the way to Lake Barkley. The trial travels across the bridge and into Land Between the Lakes, where is connects to the Central Hardwoods Trail. It’s about eight miles to the bridge, so one could bike or hike into LBL for a total of 19 miles.

Cadiz Railroad Trail
The Cadiz Railroad Trail, located in downtown Cadiz, is 1.5 miles long. The surface is asphalt, and it is used for hiking and jogging. This rail-trail is the site of the former Cadiz Railroad that connected with the Illinois Central and Louisville & Nashville Railroads. The trail was dedicated in 1989, making it the first rail-trail in Kentucky.
