Star Shows & Laser Lights
Daily shows, typically running from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., offer captivating experiences for families of all ages. Titles like “Wildest Weather in the Solar System,” “Tonight’s Sky Live,” and “From Earth to Universe” are particularly engaging for those aged six and up. During the summer months on the weekend, the planetarium transforms into a vibrant space for laser light shows. Sit back and enjoy as colorful lights dance across the dome, synchronized to music from various genres, including country, rock, and event a bit of Elvis.
Seeing Stars
The Observatory
Beyond the planetarium, the Golden Pond Observatory offers a chance to explore the universe up close. Peer through the powerful computerized Meade 16-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope for a detailed view of celestial objects. During the summer months, don’t miss the Observatory Star Parties, where you can enjoy stargazing with smaller telescopes alongside fellow enthusiasts.
