Whether you are a beginner or an experienced clay slinger, Saturday classes focus on a single project that will take students from the confrontation of a lump of wet clay to the completion of a fired and glazed piece.

Topics will range from the construction and decoration of simple bowls or serving dishes to covered jars, boxes, and vessels.

Susan will demonstrate each skill necessary to complete the project, including the use of bisque molds, colored slips, and coil and slab construction—skills that will translate to countless future clay projects—while encouraging everyone to bring their imagination and sense of adventure to every class.

*Four-week Wednesday classes are also available for those who have already taken one of Susan’s classes.
