DESCRIPTION:The Cadiz Fire Department and Cadiz/Trigg County Parks and Recreation are teaming up for a free\, family-friendly event to help the community beat the heat. \nThe “Cadiz Cool Down” will take place Saturday\, August 9\, from 1 to 3 p.m. in front of the middle school gym. Kids and families are invited to cool off with water activities\, including getting sprayed with a fire hose and tossing water balloons with Trigg County EMS. \nFree popsicles will also be handed out\, courtesy of the Lighthouse Family Resource Center. \nThe event is open to the public\, and all activities are free.
