She will be speaking at the museum Thursday, April 16, 2026, 6 PM on “Making a Writing Life.”

During her presentation, award-winning writer and teacher Kathleen Driskell, Kentucky Poet Laureate 2025-26, discusses her writing and reads from her work but also talks about how everyone can make a writing life and why it’s so enriching to do so.

Light refreshments will be served.
